Charitable Support

Whilst Imperial is a business focused on controlling costs and managing a lean competetive company, we do see the benefit to society in assisting certain charities/good causes (corporate responsibilities). As such, we have set a small percentage of any net profit achieved for allocation to specific charities.
 
We have selected specific charities/causes for this and for the year commencing 1st April 2009, Imperial has helped the following:-
 
  • When You Wish Upon a Star – Dream Making for Sick Children. All the children have serious or life threatening conditions and are nominated by their own hospital; each child gets three wishes, one of which will be granted by the visit of the 'Wish Fairy' from the charity.
  • Sport for Children, a charity that aids children in the inner cities in getting involved in sports. The vehicle for helping the children in these, sometimes, deprived areas is sponsorship of Badminton and Squash through.  Both of these sports are inclusive; they have no boundaries on age, sex or race and recognition could help bring in more.
  • Trewan Sands, a disabled holiday centre
