Imperial Consultants are delighted to announce the appointment of Ian Hogarth as Client Development Director. Ian previously worked for Homeserve for 14 years looking after a number of key client relationships. Ian's remit is to promote the Imperial brand to potential insurer clients and to further develop relations with existing clients.
We are delighted to announce that Paul Rainford has accepted the post of Technical Director.
Along with the above professional qualifications, Paul has building trade qualifications and a background in refurbishing, constructing and managing his own portfolio of properties. Paul joined Imperial Consultants as a surveyor in 1997 and became a roofing consultant with the Institute of Roofing in 1999 and has been actively involved with Imperial Consultants through all phases of development since joining. Paul became the Regional Management Agent for the central region of the UK in 1999 and in 2001 he began delivering our residential training course to new surveyors as approved by the Chartered Institute of Insurers (CII).
Paul stated "I am delighted to accept the role of Technical Director. I look forward to driving Imperial Consultants forward through a commitment to excellence with the highest levels in technical performance and the highest customer care standards from our field surveyors".
Andrew Jones joined Imperial Consultants as the Financial Controller on 1st September 2009. Andrew qualified as an accountant with CIMA in 2002 and he brings with him a wealth of experience from similar roles in insurance, telecoms and distribution businesses. His most recent role was as a Financial Controller within a group of healthcare and mobility related companies during which time Andrew was the key finance link in the due diligence and subsequent sale of the business to a large US Corporation.
Andrew will be responsible for reviewing all of the financial controls, controlling the cost base, reviewing the status of the existing contracts, assisting with new contract negotiations and will deliver input into on-going strategic decisions.
On joining Imperial Consultants Andrew said, "I'm looking forward to playing a part in helping the company to deliver sustainable growth over the coming years. It is an exciting time to be joining such a vibrant company".
John Dakin joined Imperial Consultants as Account Manager on 1st September 2009.
John has over 30 years experience in the retail sector and prior to joining to Imperial John was the regional manager for a high profile retailer where he was responsible for the training and mentoring of managers and staff across several retail branches. John was instrumental in implementing and maintaining a strong customer/client focused service.
John will support our growing client base delivering management information and commentary, he will receive client feedback and give guidance to clients on Imperial services and brand.
John is 49 years old, has been married for over 24 years with a grown up son; he has been a keen golfer since his youth.Dan joined Imperial Consultants in November 2008 as Operations Manager.
Briefly Dan joined Axa Insurance from school and began his career as an Underwriting Assistant, Dan then moved to a newly created FSA complaints handling role and eventually found his home in the commercial property claims department where his final role at Axa was 'Commercial Property Claims Auditor' his responsibilities being the auditing of loss adjustors, suppliers and internal staff.
Dan then had a two year spell at a delegated claims handling company where his role was a 'Senior Claims Handler' for commercial property claims and he had the day to day management of staff, referrals and a personal delegated authority of £150,000.
Dan's responsibilities at Imperial are the management of the First Response and Claims Technician teams to ensure service and quality standards are achieved and maintained. Dan is Imperial's key contact for commercial and household operational points and is the strategic decision maker for the implementation of Individual Disaster Plans to ensure continuation of best results in times of surge.
