Charities and Support

 

 
Whilst Imperial is a business focused on controlling costs and managing a lean competetive company, we do see the benefit to society in assisting certain charities. As such, we have set a small percentage of any net profit achieved for allocation to specific charities.
 
We have selected specific charities/causes for this and for the year commencing 1st April 2009, Imperial has helped the follwing:-
 
  • When You Wish Upon a Star – Dream Making for Sick Children. All the children have serious or life threatening conditions and are nominated by their own hospital; each child gets three wishes, one of which will be granted by the visit of the 'Wish Fairy' from the charity.
 
  • Sport for Children, a charity that aids children in the inner cities in getting involved in sports.

 

  • Trewan Sands, a disabled holiday centre
 
 
Badminton and Squash sponsorship. Both of these sports are inclusive family games with no boundaries on age, sex or race and recognition could help bring in more.
